James Kim | Founder
He got his start as an intern for the public radio station KPCC in 2011. Since then, he's worked for Marketplace, The Dinner Party Download, KCRW, and then left his job at Gimlet to make his own shows. He loves trying to find new ways to tell stories through sound and to push the boundaries of audio storytelling.

Darby Maloney | Managing Editor
She got her start in public radio and has spent over 20 years making things that matter — covering the entertainment business as a journalist, producing documentary and companion podcasts at Pineapple Street Studios for clients like HBO Max, Apple, and Paper Kite, and collaborating with nonprofits on media projects. What makes her unusual is that she's also a clinical social worker trained in psychoanalysis. It's what makes her so good at finding the story inside the story.
